Stronger muscles make stronger bones
Our osteoporosis treatment program consists of an evaluation and physical therapy. It includes education, exercise, and a customized home program.
Get serious about your bones
Resistance training and weight bearing activities can:
- Relieve pain
- Improved posture, strength and balance
- Slow bone loss
- Reduce the risk of falls
Osteoporosis is known as a "silent disease" because you don't feel your bones getting weaker. Ten million americans are affected by this disease annually, so knowing your bone health is very important when it comes to preventing and treating it.
If you have or think you may have osteoporosis, it's not too late to take action and do something about it. Program meets once a week on Wednesdays at noon for a one hour group session over four weeks. Talk to your doctor to see if this program is right for you.
